They are experts of operations, process and efficiency. This team leads food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all Food & Beverage areas of the store. </div><div>At Target, we believe in our team members having meaningful experiences that help them build and develop skills for a career. The role of a Food & Beverage Expert can provide you with the skills and experiences of: </div><div><ul><li>Guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest first culture in Food & Beverage </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Provide guests with information around when to purchase items and in what quantity, as well as storage tips </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Food & Beverage business fundamentals: department sales trends, inventory, quality and freshness management, guest shopping patterns and pricing and promotions strategies </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Food seasonality, freshness and quality, food safety standards and routines, and merchandising </li></ul></div><div>As a Food & Beverage Expert, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities: </div><div><ul><li>Deliver an exceptional guest experience, providing a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over task. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Execute Food & Beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandise, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and organizing and storing reserve product. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target’s policies and procedures. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Work with vendors to proactively set, maintain and make planned changes to salesfloor merchandise displays and to keep organized backroom space. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Locate and identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to Target’s policies and procedures. </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Execute all federal, state and local adult beverage laws as they apply to your business. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Appropriately use and care for in-store and personal protective equipment; follow equipment control guidelines.  </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local laws. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.   </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>All other duties based on business needs </li></ul></div><div>WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR </div><div>This may be the right job for you if: </div><div><ul><li>You enjoy interacting and helping others - including guests that shop our store and fellow team members you work with. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>You thrive in a fast-moving, highly active and physically demanding role, where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem solving are key to success. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>You are open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and other peak shopping times). </li></ul></div><div>The good news is that we have some amazing training that will help teach you everything you need to know to be a Food & Beverage Expert.
